Earlier, on December 31, extending new year wishes to his fans, Karan shared a monochrome photo of himself hugging his twins.
Filmmaker Karan Johar on Friday took to his verified Instagram handle to treat his fans and followers with a photo of his little munchkins Yash and Roohi, dressed in chic nightwears and sporting glam sunglasses.
A fashion enthusiast himself, Karan makes it a point to be dressed in one of the best looking outfits sourced from high-end brands every time he steps out in public. The filmmaker is known for his stunning footwear collection and expensive jackets all from international brands besides his chic and sometimes even flashy outfits.
And so, referring to his own sense of fashion and choice of flashy outfits, Karan captioned the post, "Not sure I am a good fashion influence .....my baby rappers in the house! (sic)."
In the photo, while Yash can be seen confidently posing for the camera dressed in a blue kurta with space-themed print all over it teamed with a white pyjama, Roohi gives a slight smile, looking cute in a dodger blue nightwear set with llama print on it. The two kids had their chic and flashy sunglasses on as they posed for the capture.

Alongside the heartwarming photo Karan wrote, "I am grateful for my family and friends for always having my back...to everyone in my company who are my extended family and am eternally grateful for their love and loyalty....yes it wasn’t an easy year but there were many lessons learnt and many steps taken...some ahead of and some intentionally behind....I believe we all have the resilience to combat every obstacle and always emerge victorious ....love you all from me and mine #happynewyear (sic).
Earlier during an interaction with Hindustan Times, Johar had spoken about fatherhood. He had said, "My life has changed since Roohi and Yash arrived. At 44, this is my biggest blockbuster. I still haven’t realised the enormity of what's happened. They're only two months old. And all they do is eat, sleep, burp, wail and poop. Kabhi Khushi, Kabhi Gham! While I stare at them in wonder. But I can’t get over the fact that they are mine."
On the work front, Karan will be co-producing Akshay Kumar starrer 'Sooryavanshi' with Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Pictures and Cape of Good Films and Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt's 'Brahmastra' with Fox Star Studios and Namit Malhotra.
