Kapil Sharma faints, Shah Rukh Khan-Anushka Sharma shoot cancelled!

On July 7, Kapil Sharma was to shoot for an episode with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, as part of the promotions of their upcoming film Jab Harry Met Sejal. Everything was ready, the stars came on the sets, the gags were in place and they were about to start, when Kapil suddenly took ill.

Says a source, “We don’t know what happened exactly, but Kapil fainted and was rushed to a hospital. And we were told it was due to stress.” This is not the first time a shoot had to be cancelled at the last minute. Earlier, when the team of Guest Iin London comprising Paresh Rawal, Kartik Aryan and Kriti Kharbanda had gone on the sets they had to go back without shooting because Kapil had to be hospitalised as his sugar levels had dropped. 

What is stressing Kapil out? His mid-air fight with Sunil Grover happened a while ago, and his show which was lagging in ratings has also been steadily climbing back. Wonder if it’s the channel’s decision to introduce a new show, The Drama Company, with his rival Krushna Abhishek as the host that is behind Kapil’s stress. Last year, Kapil had a fallout with Colors when they launched Comedy Nights Bachao with Krushna and reportedly felt that it was promoted more than his show!
