Kangana Ranaut to reunite with Anurag Basu for 'Imli'

Kangana Ranaut, who has an exciting line-up of films from Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi to Mental Hai Kya to Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s next revolving around Kabaddi, has apparently become lenient in her way of working. Until about a year ago, reports were rife about Kangs getting involved in various departments of filmmaking, like direction and scripting. But now, sources tell us that the Queen actress is trying her best not to interfere in any other aspect of her movies.

We hear this transformation happened after Kangana’s advisers and industry friends asked her to refrain from meddling. “Director Anurag Basu, who gave her a break in Gangster, was one of those who gave her this advice,” says the source. In fact, the curly-haired actress is now said to be teaming up with the filmmaker for a movie titled Imli, over eight years since their last collaboration, Kites. Oh, don’t we love such reunions!
