Kangana Ranaut, who will next be seen in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, has taken a break from the film’s shoot and is enjoying her family time. Amidst the snow-capped mountains of Manali, Kangana is having a gala time with sister Rangoli and nephew Prithviraj Chandel at her new mansion in the hometown.

Now if a report in Mid-Day is to be believed, Kangana has been approached to play differently-abled woman in a film by R Balki, who is currently gearing up for his big release Padman. “Kangana had already been roped in for the Arunima Sinha biopic. But the film showed no signs of kick-starting. So when Balki offered her this project, she was keen to come on board. The film revolves around a woman who is left handicapped after a freak accident and eventually reclaims her life.”, a source told a leading daily.

Interestingly, the filmmaker’s favourite actor, Amitabh Bachchan will also be a part of the film. “Bachchan will be seen as her mentor, who will inspire her to rise against all odds.”, the source added.

Meanwhile, Kangana will undergo preparations to play a differently-abled woman on screen. “Kangana will require a two-month-long prep to adapt to the body language of a differently-abled person. The actors are expected to sign the contracts next week and an official announcement will be made later this month.”, revealed the source.

While Kangana is slated to begin work on a thriller after Manikarnika, Big B is currently shooting Thugs Of Hindostan and 102 Not Out. R Balki intends to begin shooting for the film after Kangana wraps up Manikarnika.

Well, considering a versatile actor like Kangana playing a challenging role opposite the legend Amitabh Bachchan will surely be a delight for the fans.
