Kangana Ranaut-Rajkummar Rao's 'Mental Hai Kya' and Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani's 'Kabir Singh' to clash at box office

Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya has been one of the films which intrigued the audience with its quirky and kickass posters. Last year, in the month of March, the film was announced with posters featuring the lead actors showing their whacky and crazy side which one could have only imagined. The movie was initially slated to release on February 22, 2019, but it was postponed. Today, the makers announced the new release date of Mental Hai Kya and it will now hit the screens on June 21, 2019.

A new poster was unveiled where both Kangana and Rajkummar are seen balancing a razor sharp blade on their tongues which prove that they are totally mental in the film. Interestingly, Mental Hai Kya will be clashing with Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh which is also releasing on June 21, 2019. Since the time Kabir Singh was announced they have maintained the same release date. We have to wait and watch to see which film attracts more viewers and mints how much at the box office.

Mental Hai Kya is directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, while Kabir Singh is helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Kabir Singh is the official Hindi remake of Telugu hit film Arjun Reddy which starred Vijay Deverakonda and ‎Shalini Pandey in the lead roles.
