On the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as Sardar Patel, which is also celebrated as National Unity Day, actress Kangana Ranaut took to her verified Twitter handle to pay her tributes to the leader while sharing a thought-provoking post talking about how the real Iron Man of India "sacrificed his most deserving and elected position as the First Prime Minister of India just to please Gandhi because he felt Nehru spoke better English".
In her tweet, the 'Queen' star went on to mention that though "Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel did not suffer, but nation suffered for decades." She added, "we must shamelessly snatch what is rightfully ours".
In a follow-up tweet, Kangana Ranaut while stating that Sadar Patel is the real Iron Man of India, wrote, "I do believe Gandhi ji wanted a weaker mind like Nehru that he could control and run the nation by keeping him in the forefront, that was a good plan but what happened after Gandhi got killed was a big disaster #SardarVallabhbhaiPatel (sic)."

In her last tweet, the actress, while expressing her regret over the great leader's decision to 'sacrifice his position as Prime Minister', wrote, "Wishing India’s Iron man #SardarVallabhbhaiPatel a happy anniversary, you are the man who gave us today’s Akhand Bharat but you took your great leadership and vision away from us by sacrificing your position as a Prime Minister. We deeply regret your decision (sic)."
Ever since Kangana made her debut on Twitter, she has been voicing her opinions on matters she thinks she needs to speak on.
