On January 1, 2021, Kangana Ranaut hosted a brunch party for the team members of her forthcoming film Dhaakad. It came as a surprise to many on seeing Arjun Rampal in the photos along with his partner Gabriella Demetriades. Now, dishing out details about Dhaakad, Kangana took to her Twitter page and shared a few more photos from the party while posing with the director Razneesh Ghai.

Talking about roping in world-renowned technicians for the film, Kangana wrote, "For #Dhaakad we have a legendary french director of photography Tetsuo Nagata, his academy award-winning work like La Vie en Rose has been an inspiration for the whole world. Along with highly acclaimed international action crew @RazyGhai hoping to make a world-class spy thriller."

Tetsuo Nagata is a France based DOP. The acclaimed winner at the César Award for Best Cinematography, made several heads turn with his fantastic camera work and proved his mettle in films like The Narco, Paris, Je t'aime and La Vie En Rose.

In a statement, Kangana went on to say that Dhaakad is in the lines of Resident Evil. She added, "It has several chase sequences and sword fights. I will use all kinds of sophisticated weapons, including some of the latest machine guns. I believe one must pick up new skills for every movie. I don't like to rush into any project as it makes me anxious."

It was in August 2019, when the makers of Dhaakad released a teaser feature Kangana. In the video, the actor is seen blazing guns and looking fierce in her new avatar.
