Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh is slated to release in theatres on Friday, June 21, 2019. The movie has been in a lot of buzz ever since the first teaser was unveiled. The trailer of the film was in talks for various reasons. Apart from that, the soundtrack has attracted many people.

To sum it up, Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh is almsot like a movie produced by the Bhatts some time back, where the hero has a lot of angst after his romantic love story tears apart. A lot of expectations ride on Shahid Kapoor, whose character requires to show traits of romance and angst, both which he has performed beautifully in the past.

This remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy is expected to perform wonders at the box office. If a report on Box Office India is anything to go by, then Shahid Kapoor might just be ready for his highest opening day. This would break records of his 2015 release Shaandaar.

The advance day booking, which were open from Sunday, have seen the numbers ringing, although not as much as expected since the movie is not a holiday release. It however was sufficient enough for Shahid to get his biggest opener at the Box Office. The report claims that even though the movie is collecting well in metros, Nagpur and Bhopal have some pretty good numbers in terms of collections. The opening day is expected to go double from a typical Shahid Kapoor film.

Interestingly Kabir Singh is being directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who also helmed Arjun Reddy. Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey were the starcast in the original Telugu blockbuster of 2017.
