Riding high on honours such as  the Stardust - Power Producer of the Year, Masala - Dynamic Producer Award, Zee Cine Awards – Extra Ordinary Impact Film and Viewers Choice Best Film for Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, producer Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment is excited to team up with John Abraham, who has bankrolled films like Madras Café and Vicky Donor that have not just seen box office success but massive critical acclaim. The two now join forces for Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran , based on the nuclear bomb test explosions conducted by the Indian Army at Pokhran in 1998.

Producer Prernaa Arora is confident that her upcoming film 'Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran' starring John Abraham and Diana Penty in the lead role will be a game changer for the actor.

"I see this film being a game changer and one that John Abraham will definitely be remembered for,” said Prernaa Arora.

KriArj Entertainment and JA Entertainment collaborated for the first time for this film with a singular vision to back powerful content and entertainment that caters to all audiences.

Earlier, the film which was supposed to be released on December 8 last year was postponed to avoid clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat'.

John, who portrays a very intense role donning an avatar of an army officer, hopes that the film will be a commercial success.

"Parmanu is a very special film. We are happy with this collaboration and Kriarj has more than assured us of the best possible partnership. It was important to get the right release date and Kriarj and JA Entertainment have put their heads together on a subject that excites us both. We are happy with our plans and are moving forward with a very effective release. We both believe in this film and we hope to marry content with commerce on this one," said John Abraham.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, Parmanu also features Boman Irani in a significant role. The film is all set to release on March 2.
