Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter commence shooting for 'Dhadak' in Udaipur

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter, Janhvi Kapoor is all geared up for her big Bollywood debut opposite Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother, Ishaan Khatter. The star kids are making their debut with Dharma Productions’ Dhadak, the first look posters of which were unveiled by producer Karan Johar two weeks ago.

Now, filmmaker Shashank Khaitan has begun the shooting of the film in Udaipur and he took to Instagram to share a few pictures from the city of lakes. For the uninitiated, Shashank last directed Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in Badrinath Ki Dulhania and with Dhadak, he’s back on the director’s chair.

Talking about the film, Shashank had earlier told a news agency, "The prep work for the film began sometime back and I have been working with them. They (Janhvi and Ishaan) are great people and are very hardworking, these are two things that I always look for in actors. They are good people who respect others and are dedicated to their work and ready to give their best."
 
Meanwhile, Dhadak is slated to release on July 6, 2018.
