It was a prank! The Whatsapp number tweeted by Ajay Devgn, is not Kajol's

Ajay Devgn sent the internet into a tizzy on Monday evening as he took to his Twitter account to share his wife Kajol's WhatsApp number. While some concerned fans alarmed Kajol by messaging her on the number, a few notorius ones started trolling the actor. 

A few users also posted screenshots of their hilarous Whatsapp messages to the number. The particular tweet got liked 19,000 times, garnered 3000 messages and got retweeted over 3,500 times. Both Ajay and Kajol trended the entire evening. 

However, Ajay took to his account a few hours later and clarified that he had pulled off a prank with his fans and that the number he provided was absolutely fake.

"Pranks on film set are so passé… so tried pulling one on you guys here..," the 'serious' actor wrote.
