Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor's 'Dhadak' postponed, will now release on this date!

Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter's Bollywood debut film Dhadak has been pushed to a new date. The film, produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions was earlier slated to hit the theatres on July 6. 

Karan Johar took to his Twitter account to announce the new release date of Dhadak. He wrote, #6monthstoDHADAK #dhadak releasing 20th JULY 2018! Directed by @ShashankKhaitan and PRESENTING #janhvi and #Ishaan @DharmaMovies @ZeeStudios_ @apoorvamehta18" alongside a new poster from the film.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Dhadak is a Hindi adaptation of the Marathi hit film Sairaat. The plot revolved around the love story of two teenagers, fighting against the caste system for each other. 

While Ishaan has already made his acting debut in Majid Majidi'd Beyond The Clouds, Dhadak will be his debut film in Bollywood. On the other hand, Janhvi makes her debut in Hindi films with the movie. The first schedule of Dhadak has already been wrapped up and the shooting is going going on in full swing.
