Is 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' helmer Luv Ranjan partial to Nushrat Bharucha?

Luv Ranjan is four films old — Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011), Akaash Vani (2013), Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015) and the recent blockbuster, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018). Nushrat Bharucha and Kartik Aaryan have been common to all four films. Though neither of these actors feature in Luv’s next production that has Ajay Devgn in the lead, sources say that Nushrat is reportedly Luv’s muse and he is keen to make more movies with her. In fact, there are those who say the announcement may come sooner than expected. Over the years, many filmmakers have been partial to their muses. Back in the ’60s, Chetan Anand conceptualised all his movies with Priya Rajvansh, Dev Anand had a clear preference for Zeenat Aman, while Ram Gopal Varma couldn’t see beyond Urmila Matondkar at one point. She was later replaced by Antara Mali in RGV’s films, so on and so forth.

Guess when a filmmaker finds success with a certain actor, he/she automatically becomes part of his inner circle. And for those wondering why Kartik is not being labelled his muse and it is just Nushrat, who is ‘special’ to the salt-&-pepper bearded filmmaker, well, we can tell you, Kartik has flown the coop. He is a regular at the offices of several other filmmakers and is just waiting for the announcements to pop. A source says, “In the case of Nushrat, she is reportedly waiting for her next big announcement with Luv.”
