We all know the 'Tiger Zinda Hai' jodi of Salman Khan and filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar is reuniting for 'Bharat'. The film is also special considering it marks the return of Priyanka Chopra after a gap of 2 years.

The filmmaker has worked with PC in 2014 film, 'Gunday' and shares a great equation with the actress. But now rumours of Shraddha Kapoor joining the cast is also doing the rounds. Reportedly, the film will have two leading ladies, Priyanka and Shraddha opposite Salman.

But Miss Kapoor who is currently shooting for 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' with Shahid Kapoor has denied these rumours. According to PTI, the actress has denied rumours of her being part of 'Bharat' and even 'Shotgun Shaadi' with Sidharth Malhotra in the lead. The actress said, " There are a couple of films that my name is being associated with when I haven’t even been approached. But the fact is that the only films I am working on are Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Stree and Saaho. My producers will announce if and when I sign another project. Till then please don’t believe any speculations."

DNA After Hrs earlier reported that 'Bharat' will chronicle India’s journey from 1947 till today, which will be seen through the eyes of the Bollywood superstar’s character. A source said, “Salman will sport five different looks in Bharat, which begins with him witnessing one of the most dramatic chapters of our history — the Partition. It’s an Indian adaptation of the Korean movie, Ode to My Father and will be a commercial film with a mix of action, drama and music.” . When contacted, Ali confirmed, “Since the story spans over a period of 70 years, there will be many historical references. It is essentially about a man who lives through several significant moments from India’s past to present. We are currently working on the film’s pre-production and details will be announced once we are in a position to talk about them.”

Bharat will be filmed in Abu Dhabi, Spain, Punjab and Delhi. The movie goes on the floors this June and is expected to be Salman’s Eid offering next year.
