Is Priyanka Chopra the real reason why Parineeti Chopra refused Sahir Ludhianvi biopic 'Gustakhiyaan'?

About a week ago, several reports stated that Parineeti Chopra refused Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gustakhiyaan. The film is a biopic based on the love life of the poets Sahir Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam. 

Though the reports suggested that Pari had to let go of the film owing to date issues but turns out that her cousin sister Priyanka Chopra may have some part to play in her turning down the role as well. 

A report on Asian Age quoted a source as saying, "Parineeti had a chat with Priyanka as well, since she had refused the film, due to her busy schedule in Bollywood, Hollywood and her TV shows. Priyanka told her to see if she wanted to take on such a challenging role early in her career. Parineeti then cited date issues and refused the film."

Parineeti's spokesperson is said to have shared that her hands are full with Sandep Aur Pinky Faraar and Namastey Canada and she isn't doing any other film as of now, However, as and when she finalises new projects, the same will be formally announced.

Pari's last release Golmaal Again is doing pretty well at the ticket windows. In fact, the film as gone on to become the highest grosser in the horror-comedy genre.
