Aamir Khan, who is particularly known for choosing unconventional and varied roles, has this time collaborated with T-Series for the Gulshan Kumar biopic. Aamir Khan Productions and T-Series will jointly release this biographical drama, which will be directed by Jolly LLB franchise helmer Subhash Kapoor. However, lines are hazy, and we still don't know whether Mr Perfectionist is only producing the film or also starring in it.

This is because last year Akshay Kumar was on board for the film, which was earlier titled Mogul, but it never went on the floors. In the past several years, we have noticed that the PK actor has acted almost in all of his production ventures, including films like Dangal, Taare Zameen Par and Secret Superstar.

Even though, nothing yet has been announced about the cast of the biopic, we are hoping that Aamir Khan plays the protagonist. The Gulshan Kumar biopic is all set to go on floors early next year and will hit the screens during the Christmas weekend in 2019.

Interestingly, many of the Aamir Khan films like 3 Idiots, PK, Taare Zameen Par and Dangal have released during the Christmas period. Apart from this, Aamir is currently busy with Thugs of Hindostan which is reportedly based on the novel Confessions of a Thug

The film also features Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles. The film is being helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who has previously helmed films like Dhoom 3 and Tashan

The mega-action adventure fantasy drama which is expected to be the most expensive film under the YRF banner is set to hit the screens on November 7.
