Is a sequel to Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ already on the cards?

Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees was one of the sleeper hits of 2017 and now it seems, the makers are keen to have a sequel to the movie, which also starred Pakistani actor Mahira Khan. 

Director Rahul Dholakia took to Twitter to claim that Raees was the most pirated movie in 2017. To this, producer Ritesh Sidhwani replied by saying, "Look at the brighter side the audience we have for the sequel #RaeesReturns."

Well, does that mean a sequel to Raees is already on the cards? Well, if is it certainly true, we wonder if Shah Rukh will be accompanied by Mahira in the sequel too considering the changed India-Pakistan ties since then.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Aanand L Rai's Zero, wherein he will be seen as a dwarf. Zero will reunite SRK with his Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-stars, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
