After releasing an official statement on his health status, Irrfan Khan left abroad for treatment for neuroendocrine tumour in March this year. Little has been known about the talented actor since then and now a picture of the actor enjoying a test match between England and Pakistan at the Lord's in London is doing the rounds on social media. Piku actor's picture gone viral which comes a big relief for the fans who were concerned about his health and are praying for the actor to get back in action soon.

In March, Irrfan had put an end to speculations around his health and took to Twitter to reveal that he has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour. Blackmail released after he began his treatment and now the actor is looking forward to the release of 'Karwaan' with Dulquer Salman and Mithali Palkar.

While Vishal Bhardwaj is waiting for Irrfan Khan to recover to begin shooting for Sapna Didi biopic, Shoojit Sircar also confirmed that he will be working with Irrfan again. He told Bollywood Life earlier,  “I’ve been speaking to both Irrfan and his wife (Sutapa Sikdar), he’s responding well to the treatment and trying to cope with the knowledge that he’s battling neuroendocrine tumour by treating the recuperation in Europe like a short and unexpected holiday. I’m planning to visit him next month.” After Piku, Shoojit and Irrfan will reunite for Udham Singh biopic where Irrfan will play the lead role.  Sircar said that hopefully, the film will go on floors at the end of this year but will wait till Irrfan recovers completely.
