Superstar Salman Khan has been busy shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai in Abu Dhabi. But now the actor is back home, right in time to ring in the celebrations for Ganesh Chaturthi. Salman Khan was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Wednesday night, along with his two sisters Alvira and Arpita and his youngest nephew Ahaan. 

Salman Khan has been a devoted follower of Lord Ganesha. Every year his family welcomes Ganpati into their homes for three day.Salman's mother Salma Khan is half Maharashtrian and half Rajput Dogra and that's just one of the reasons for Ganesh Chatruthi being celebrated in a grand way at Khan residence every year. Salman has taken a break from the shoot of Ali Abbas Zafar's film Tiger Zinda Hai and will return back to Abi Dhabi to wrap up the shoot soon.

 

But this year the Galaxy Apartment won't witness the festivities as the family has decided that the celebrations will take place at Arpita Khan Sharma's residence in Bandra. As per reports, the Khans have decided to get Bappa at Arpita's house this year. As it was Salman's baby sister who initiated celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi and since then it has been an annual affair for the family. Salman has often confessed that how Ganpati Bappa eradicates all his problems, and even when he is busy shooting he doesn't miss out on the celebrations. Last year, Salman couldn't attend the Ganesh utsav at Galaxy as he was busy shooting for Tubelight. But this year the actor ensured to return home.
