In pics: Remember 'Chak De! India' actress Shilpa Shukla? Here's how she looks now

Its's Shilpa Shukla's 36th birthday today. The actress shot to fame in Bollywood with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chak De! India, is known for her bold and bindaas acting skills. However, the actress is away from limelight these days. 

Born in Bihar, Shilpa has worked in theatre, TV as well as Hindi films. She began her acting career in the year 2003 with the Pakistani film Khamosh Paani and made her Bollywood debut in 2005 with Hazaron Khwahishein Aisi. She got a lot of appreciation for her character of Bindiya Naik in SRK's Chak De! India in 2007. 

The film proved to be a turning point in her career and she went on to do some more Bollywood projects. She once again grabbed the eyeballs for her bold scenes with a much younger actor in B.A. Pass and even won several awards for portraying such a bold character. 

The actress who's away from the glamour industry and the limelight these days looks nothing like what she did in Chak De.
