Rani Mukerji is returning to the big screen with 'Hichki' after a long hiatus and is leaving no stone unturned to promote her film. After hopping from one reality show to another, the actress made yet another public appearance. This time Rani met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and gave a heartwarming speech about 'Hichki' in leadership on the opening day of International Women’s Conference in Bengaluru.

Rani Mukerji is returning to the big screen with 'Hichki' after a long hiatus and is leaving no stone unturned to promote her film. After hopping from one reality show to another, the actress made yet another public appearance. This time Rani met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and gave a heartwarming speech about 'Hichki' in leadership on the opening day of International Women’s Conference in Bengaluru. 

Rani attended the innaugral session along with many women achievers from different walks of life. Queen of Bee of b-town spoke about Hichki faced in life. In her heartwarming speech, she said, “Creativity is my favourite word. It is a great idea if we send our kids to art, music or dance school, but it is also a great idea to encourage our kids to be curious and ask questions,” She even went on say that women are born to be leaders. Rani said,“A leader needs to be creative as a creative leader will connect with his people. And women have the instinct to be natural leaders.”

She even spoke about how actors need to adapt themselves according to the changing times. She said, “I feel innovation cannot be defined by life-changing, future-altering creations. It’s a part of our daily lives. As actors, if we don’t innovate, we will lose our audience.”

In an official statement earlier Rani spoke about being part of this this prestigious event “Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has focused on the power of positive thinking, of positive actions and of universal love and his message has resonated with countless people. It will be amazing to be part of this session and hear him speak. ‘Hichki’ is all about harnessing your positivity and inner peace to bring out the best in you and I’m going to speak about this in his presence. I look forward to this interactive session.”

 

 

Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by Maneesh Sharma, Hichki is a story of a teacher named Naina Mathur played by Rani. Her character suffers from a nervous system disorder, Tourette syndrome that forces an individual to make involuntary repetitive movements or sounds. The film gives out an important message about how Hichki focusses on turning disadvantages, overcoming shortcomings and how to succeed in life. 

Hichki is all set to release on March 23rd, 2018.
