Ida Ali wishes 'dada' Imtiaz Ali on his 50th birthday with their adorable photos

Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali celebrates his birthday on June 16 and has turned 50 this year. On the occasion of the same, several celebs took to their social media pages and wished him on his social day. Now, Imtiaz's daughter Ida Ali took to her Instagram page and shared her few priceless photos from her childhood days. The moments are adorable and show the cute relationship the father-daughter duo shares with each other.

Ida captioned her post as "My Dada is 50! (even though it doesn’t look like, a hug to you.) @imtiazaliofficial."

Meanwhile, for the uninitiated, Imtiaz's daughter Ida is best friends with Anurag Kashyap's daughter Aaliyah Kashyap. Earlier on the latter's YouTube channel, both of them had recalled visiting the sets of 'Tamasha' in Corsica.

Aaliyah had said, "Corsica was definitely one of my favourite moments of us together. We went to Corsica because Dada (Imtiaz) was shooting 'Tamasha' and my mom (Aarti Bajaj) was also there (because she was editing the film). There was this incident that happened."

Meanwhile, Ida even made her directorial debut with a short film titled 'Gayatri' starring Aaliyah in the leading role.

Talking about Imtiaz, his last film directorial was Love Aaj Kal which released in 2020. The movie starred Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead role while had Randeep Hooda playing an important character.

Imtiaz even made his web series debut with 'She' which streams on Netflix since March 2020. The show stars Aaditi Pohankar and Vijay Varma in the lead roles. The second season has also been announced.
