'I wish we met more often': Anupam Kher mourns the death of Rita Bhaduri in a heartfelt note

The film and television industry woke up to the sad news of the sudden demise of veteran actress Rita Bhaduri on Tuesday morning. She was 62 when she breathed her last. Though, the exact reason of her death has not been confirmed yet but as oer the reports that are doing the rounds, apparently, Rita Bhaduri was suffering from some serious kidney ailment. 

Rita Bhaduri was a graduate from FTII, Pune and in her career spanning over five decades, she's credited to have worked in over 70 movies and 30 TV shows. Noted actor and the chaiman of Film and Television Institute of India, Anupam Kher took to his Twitter account to mourn the loss of the talented actress. He wrote a small but heartfelt note in which he mentioned that it's sad that we all try to sum up the people when they aren't there in the world any more. 

Here's what his post read:

"#RitaBhaduri was affectionate, helpful, jovial, bright and full of life. It is sad and unfortunate that we sum up a person only when he or she is gone. I wish we met more often. We have lost a very fine actress and a brand ambassador/alumni of @FTIIOfficial. Om Shanti."

The last rites of the late actress were perfomed on Tuesday afternoon at a suburban crematorium. A number of celebs from the industry had gathered to bid adieu to Rita Bhaduri.

Rita Bhaduri will always be remembered and loved by her colleagues and near and dear ones for her bright smile and lively nature. RIP Rita Bhaduri!
