'I was a mess, it was the worst time in my life', Parineeti Chopra on one big heartbreak

Parineeti Chopra is someone who never speaks about her dating life. She always keeps mum when quizzed about her relationship. Earlier it was reported that the actor was dating filmmaker Maneesh Sharma. Parineeti had made her Bollywood debut in Ladies vs Ricky Bahl alongside Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh. She then went on to star in Shuddh Desi Romance, which was also directed by Maneesh. However, after several dating rumours, it was reported that Parineeti and Maneesh have parted ways.

Now during a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Parineeti spoke at length about heartbreak. She stated, "I have gone through one big heartbreak and I think it'll be the only one. Honestly, I was a mess. It was the worst time in my life because I had not seen any kind of rejection until then. I needed my family the most."

She further said, "But if anything changed in terms of maturity, it's all because of that. I thank God for giving me that phase early on in my life."

Now it's reported that Parineeti is dating Charit Desai, but the actor hasn't confirmed the same. When asked about him again, Parineeti told the entertainment portal, "I like to keep some mystery around it. I don't like to confirm or deny it."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti is gearing up for the release of Jabariya Jodi. In the film, she is paired opposite Sidharth Malhotra. Directed by Prashant Singh, the film is slated to release on August 9, 2019.
