I didn't want my kids to say 'He's a loser': Bobby Deol reveals the reason behind his comeback with Race 3

Bobby Deol, who was last seen in the film Poster Boys last year, is all set to be back with a bang in Salman Khan's Race 3. The actor, who almost became invisible for a long time, recently opened up on his hiatus and what made him keep faith him himself to bounce back in commercial cinema. Bobby Deol says that it's because of his kids that he managed to keep at it, even when he wasn't getting work He said that he didn't want his kids to think of him as a loser. 

Bobby Deol was in conversation with noted film critic Anupama Chopra. During the course of his interview, the actor got pretty emotional and broke down while talking about his journey so far. 

When asked about the lowest phase of his career - when he (admittedly) almost became an alcoholic, and he spoke to some producers and directors who promised to figure out a way to work with him, but nothing ever materialised, - what made him keep faith to bounce back, the Race 3 actor shared, "It's my family, my kids!I wanted them to see their father, in his best. I wanted them to not look at him and say, 'He's a loser' or 'He's given up'. I wanted to be their inspiration, as my father is to me and that's the most important thing for me and my wife, who believes so much in me." 

The actor added that he's looking forward to do some good characters in movies and would like to work with the current generation of actors too. He concludes by saying that since he has a lot more experience today, it definitely makes him a better actor now. 

Bobby Deol will be seen in Race 3 along side Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. Directed by Remo D'Souza, the film is slated to hit the theatres on June 15.
