Farhan Akhtar wrote a long Facebook post in favour of Hrithik and Kjo & Sonam also tweeted in support of it
Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut's war is getting uglier by the day. Not just Krrish star came out to give his side of the story in a TV interview, his friends from the fraternity also spoke in favour of the actor.
Farhan Akhtar wrote a long Facebook post defending his Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara co-star, and wrote, "Although it is true that in most cases it is a woman that has been wronged, there is a difference between ‘most’ and ‘all’. However few and rare they may be, there have been cases where men have been stalked, harassed and falsely accused. This reality has been accepted by the highest courts of our land." Without mentioning Roshan Jr or Miss Ranaut's name, Farhan asked the same questions as Hrithik did. Why has the lady in question not submitted her mobile or laptop with the investigating agencies or why she has no picture to prove her so-called 7 year old relationship with a man.
He even explained his reason for writing an open letter in the matter, Faran Akhtar wrote, "The reason I felt the need to say this is that it is apparent that some people have already jumped to conclusions while some are deriving some sort of voyeuristic pleasure by encouraging the woman to carry on speaking. This is being done without a seconds pause to consider the effect her words will have on the person, his family or his children. As great as all of it may be for TRP, it’s in terrible taste. Until such a time that the matter is brought to its logical conclusion by the authorities, we must avoid vilifying the man on the basis of unsubstantiated statements."
His words got a stamp of approval from Sonam Kapoor and Karan Johar too. KJo who has already been at war with Kangana Ranaut over nepotism debate, tweeted in support of Farhan's open letter and wrote, " Beautifully written Farhan...It's important...it's true!"
Kangana Ranaut has been silent on the matter ever since the release of 'Simran' and with new developments everyday it's either her lawyer or her sister Rangoli Chandel replying. Once again, Kangana's sister lashed out at Bollywood supporting Hrithik Roshan. In a series of tweets, Rangoli wrote, " If the entire industry stands against her she will still survive because she is the chose one!!"
Wonder, if this war of words will end anytime soon.
