Rani Mukerji is making a comeback to movies after four long years and the trailer of Hichki reminds us why we missed Queen of Hearts.

In the role of a teacher, Naina Mathur, she is ready to woo her fans with her acting prowess and powerful screen presence once again.  But most importantly, the film gives out an important life lesson. Hichki reminds us to believe in ourselves and face life with whatever it has to offer.

Produced by Maneesh Sharma and directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, the film revolves around Rani's character who suffers from Tourette syndrome which gives her regular hiccups. Many find it as a hindrance in her teaching profession but she loves her job and doesn't give up. She gets an opportunity to teach a group of rowdy children who are are out to bully her instead of giving her due respect. But in the role of Naina Mathur, she fights back her own weaknesses and helps the students find a correct path in life.

Life is a classroom and along with the students in her life, Rani Mukerji's character is also here to find her own strength. As the tagline suggests: What is life without a few hiccups.

The film is all set to release on February 23rd 2018 and will also mark Rani's debut on social media. In an official statement, the actress said, “I’m aware that my fans want me to join social media and I would like to thank them for their continued and overwhelming love. I will be using the official social media platforms of YRF and Hichki to directly communicate with them. I’m excited to meet them, talk to them and share my film’s content with them online. Audiences, world over, are consuming content on digital and they are sharing, liking and expressing their viewpoints on a piece of content on social media. It is an extremely important and effective medium for film promotions and I am looking forward to my first experience on this platform to promote a film that is extremely special and close to my heart.”
