Khaali Peeli is set to be released digitally on Zee Plex from October 2, 2020.
Fans are apologising to pop sensation Beyonce after the makers of Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter starrer Khaali Peeli released the first song of the film today titled 'Beyonce Sharma Jayegi'. The song, which has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar, is getting brutally trolled by netizens for its lyrics with fans accusing makers of practicing racism and casual sexism.
The lines - "Ho tujhe dekh ke goriya, Beyonce sharma jayegi", especially didn't go down well with a section of Twitter. After the song was shared on social media, many people took to the micro-blogging site to slam the makers for the 'racist lyrics'.

For the uninformed, the track is touted to be an 'item number' in which both the actors show their incredible dancing skills. It's a known fact that Ishaan is a fabulous dancer and Ananya has matched up to him pretty well in the song video. He is flaunting his ripped body and she stuns in golden attire.
'Beyonce Sharma Jayegi' is sung by Nakash Aziz and Neeti Mohan. The music is composed by Vishal and Shekhar while the lyrics are penned by Kumaar and Raj Shekhar.
Talking about Khaali Peeli, this is the first time Ishaan and Ananya will be sharing the screen space. The film also marks the directorial debut of Maqbool Khan. Himanshu Kishan Mehra, Ali Abbas Zafar, and Zee Studios are the producers.

Earlier talking about the shoot being left for the film, Ananya had said, "We (Khaali Peeli crew) had only one day of shoot left, but we couldn’t finish the film because everyone’s safety is more important. I hope things get back to normal soon."
Currently, Ishaan and Ananya are in Goa for the promotions of the film.
