Right before the release of her film Simran, Kangana Ranaut has created a storm by spilling the beans on her her alleged affair with Hrithik Roshan and a legal battle with her Krrish 3 co-star. as well The war between two leading actors hasn't gone down well with the film fraternity. While Aditya Pancholi and Apurva Asrari lashed out against the actress yet again, singer Sona Mahapatra also condemned the idea of washing dirty linen in public.

Farah Khan who has worked with Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut in the past has now expressed her views on this never ending spat. At a recent promotional event in Mumbai, the filmmaker was asked for a reaction on Kangana's recent interview and she said , "I don't want to take anyone's name, I don't want to get caught in between. But every time you are playing a woman's card. For me feminism is equality. "

Kangana had said that Hrithik should make an public apology for the mental trauma, but Farah feels that man and woman should be treated as equals. She said, "In such a scenario a man should put himself in a woman's shoes and vice versa and then it becomes easy to understand each other. One should deal with such matters carefully. Just imagine if a man had said something like a woman, what would have happened. If a man had sent a picture or said anything like this, that man's life would have become hell or he might have been taken to the jail. If such things are not acceptable for a man, why it should be for woman?" she added.

SInger Sona Mahapatra also posted a long facebook post on this matter. Her post also echoed similar sentiments as she wrote, "For me, simply put, feminism means women are equal to men. Neither is inferior or superior. The ideal society in the future would be one in which we all operated & thought as 'humans' first & gender did not play a role in the treatment meted out to anyone's opportunities in the world. While that is a utopian dream in the current day, the reason we need to have such discussions, debates & even fights is to work towards such a future. Attitudinal change in a society won't happen without the same. This is the 'good fight', & worth fighting make no mistake. "

No more the 'Queen' of the box office, Kangana Ranaut seems to have become the queen of controversies.
