Here's how Sushmita Sen reacted when rumoured beau Ricky Martin came out as homosexual in 2010

Sushmita Sen recently shared a throwback picture of her sharing the frame with International pop singer Ricky Martin on her Instagram page. The picture created quite a stir on social media and the long forgotten tales of their alleged affair back wheh Sushmita was just crowned Miss Universe, started to surface once again. While the rumours of them having an affair were rife back in the days, the Latin pop sensation left everyone stunned when he came out as homosexual in the year 2010. 

While many waited for a reaction from Sushmita Sen, turns out that the actress had already known that Ricky was gay all this while. While talking to DNA, Suhmita revealed that she already knew about him being gay. "All the time I have known him, I’ve been so proud of him. It takes tremendous courage to accept your own DNA. I knew he was gay. More power to him. It is a fantastic feeling to be able to love who you want to and that’s a choice no one can make for you," Sushmita had told us in the said interview.

Reportedly, Ricky had decided to come out after the birth of his two sons. Prior to that, he kept his orientation a secret because of the pressure from his near and dear ones.
