'Jab Harry Met Sejal' brings SRK, Anushka and Imtiaz Ali together for the first time...
The latest track Hawayein from Jab Harry Met Sejal was launched over a sundowner date between Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma on Wednesday. Hawayein the new song was unveiled with all the pomp and glory at a seaside venue in the suburbs of Mumbai.
In sync with the romantic vibe of the song, Jab Harry Met Sejal makers launched their song over a sundowner sea-facing event in the presence of Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Imtiaz Ali and music composer Pritam.
The track, titled Hawayein was unveiled in an open air seating as the sun set on the evening of July 26, 2017. The event witnessed Shah Rukh at his romantic best, as he slipped into the character of Harry leaving no stone unturned to charm the gorgeous Sejal.
Jab Harry Met Sejal team, was colour coordinated shining bright in pristine white against a romantic set up. The song launch event witnessed Pritam indulging in an impromptu performance strumming to the soulful tunes of Safar and of course Hawayein. Shah Rukh Khan too hummed along the track with him.
Director Imtiaz Ali was seen speaking at length about the essence of the track and sharing behind the scene instances from the film. Shah Rukh also revealed that he wanted to launch the song while its raining, so that everyone could get wet.
During the interaction with the media, when Shah Rukh was asked how he makes us all fall in love with him over and over again every single time, the actor said that if he has to romance a beautiful girl like Anushka, half his work is done automatically. To this, Anushka replied saying, "Shah Rukh can even romance this mic" pointing to her microphone. On hearing this, SRK quipped, "As long as you're the one holding the mic I have no problem."
The entire evening was filled with such great moments. The newest song of Jab Harry met Sejal, has furthered the romantic bond shared between Harry and Sejal, and draws us closer to the lives of the two protagonists.
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Jab Harry Met Sejal stars Shah Rukh Khan as Harry, a tourist guide in Europe and Anushka Sharma plays Sejal, a lawyer on a trip to Europe.
Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the film is slated to release on the August 4, 2017.
