Heard this? 'Julie 2' actress Raai Laxmi once dated MS Dhoni

The makers of upcoming film Julie 2 have unveiled its steamy trailer today. The movie, which is a sequel to the Neha Dhupia starrer Julie, is backed by former CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani. The movie also marks the Bollywood debut of south siren Raai Laxmi. 

Raai Laxmi is a popular face down south. She has already done 49 movies till now and Julie 2 is her 50th film. But did you know that the actress once dated Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. It was about 5 years ago when the actress dated the cricketer. 

In an earlier interview given to the Hindustan Times, the actress was quoted as saying, "I was the brand ambassador for the team that he was a part of and we were together for less than a year. We had never committed to each other and never thought of getting married either, so I don’t understand why people would talk about us. It didn’t work for us, so we moved on." 

When the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer MS Dhoni biopic titled MS Dhoni: The Untold Story was yet to be release, the actress was reportedly anxious to know if the movie includes anything to do with her as well. 

The actress is single as of now. She has acted in a number of Malayam, Tamil and Kannada films in her 10 year long career down South.
