Priyanka Chopra, who is currently all over the news for her big fat wedding with Nick Jonas, is expected to get back to work soon.

She will resume the shooting of Shonali Bose's 'The Sky Is Pink' post her wedding. But, that's not it. According to a leading entertainment portal, the actress has also signed a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film! The film will mark their reunion after 'Bajirao Mastani'.

It is reportedly based on the life of Gangubai Kothewali, one of the most dreaded pimps of Kamathipura, Mumbai’s red light area. The project has been tentatively titled 'Heera Mandi' and will have Priyanka playing the lead role of Gangubai.

Gangubhai had stood up for the rights of prostitutes and had pushed several women into the business to save them from their miserable situations. Gangubai was also believed to have a lot of connections with powerful people. Hussain Zaidi’s book 'Mafia Queen of Mumbai' has a detailed description of the lady don. However, there is no official confirmation on the film or Priyanka's casting, yet.

Not-too-long ago, there were reports of Priyanka opting out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gustakhiyan' as she couldn't come on board as a co-producer. However, her mother Madhu Chopra had dismissed the rumours stating that PeeCee was in talks with Bhansali, but the two couldn’t fit their time schedules to discuss the film.

"Sanjay Bhansali has a lot of love and regard for Priyanka Chopra, however, no such film has been discussed," the director's spokesperson had earlier said, refuting reports of her quitting the gangster drama.
