Has Kareena Kapoor Khan said 'yes' to Shah Rukh Khan's 'Salute'?

Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently basking in the glory of Veere Di Wedding success. Her comeback film has met with a roaring response from the audience and her performance has been muc appreciated in it too. While the fans are excited to know which project will Kareena take up post Veere Di Wedding, speculations are rife that the actress has finally said a 'yes' to Shah Rukh Khan's Salute. The film is supposed to be a biopic, based on the life of astronaut Rakesh Sharma. 

While a number of fimmakers lined up to have Bebo on board post the success of her last release, the actress has not cofirmed any developments on the work front as yet. Even during the promotions of VDW, Kareena had maintained that she hasn't signed anything as she doesn't want to take up any film in haste. 

However, if recent reports are anything to go by, then she has given a nod to Salute after the makers agreed to fulfill her demands. When Salute was offered to her initially, reportedly, Kareena wasn't too impressed with the way her character was written. A TOI report suggests that she was very particular that her character should be as strong as that of Shah Rukh in the film. So, when the makers agreed to her demand, the actress reportedly signed the dotted line. 

Shah Rukh and Kareena last came together seven years back in Ra One (2011). It'll be a treat for their fans to see them on screen once again. As of now, Shah Rukh is busy in Aanand L Rai's Zero which is slated to hit the theatres in December this year.
