Wizarding World decided a beautiful initiative of roping in celebrities around the world to read out chapters from the first Harry Potter Book - Harry Potter and the Sorceror's stone/Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The first chapter was read by the titular actor himself Daniel Radcliffe followed by Noma Dumezweni, who plays Hermione Granger in the original West End and Broadway runs of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Eddie Redmayne who plays Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts franchise read out the third chapter.

The fourth chapter was read by Stephen Fry who contributed his voice to the UK audiobooks of the Harry Potter series from the past two decades. Simon Callow was joined by Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) for the fifth chapter. Jamie Parker and the Broadway cast of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child read chapter six. Whereas Oscar-winning actor Olivia Colman read out the seventh chapter.

It came as a huge surprise when the Wizarding World roped in Alia Bhatt, making her the first Indian celebrity to read out a chapter from Harry Potter for the ongoing series. The actor took to her Instagram page and shared a glimpse wherein she was joined by none other than Alec Baldwin. They read the chapter 'Potions Master' which introduce the character of Severus Snape.

In a statement, Alia stated, "It wasn't until lockdown in India that Harry, Hogwarts and the wizarding world became regular fixtures in my life. Somehow, despite the fierce insistence of my sister, life always intervened and I never quite got around to befriending the books. But. Confined to my home - I journeyed to Hogwarts with Harry and was transported to a world of endless possibility. And, just like magic, that was when I was asked to be a part of Harry Potter at Home. I didn't quite believe in magic until two months ago - but now - thanks to Harry, I do. 10 million points to Gryffindor."
