Happy Birthday Zoya Akhtar: Farhan Akhtar wishes sister with unseen childhood photo, demands return gift

Zoya Akhtar is celebrating her birthday on October 14 and she has turned 48 this year. The ace filmmaker who is considered as one of the best directors in the country has been flooded with wishes from her near and dear ones. One of the sweetest wishes is by her brother and filmmaker-actor Farhan Akhtar. He took to his Instagram page and shared an unseen photo from their childhood days to wish Zoya.

In the photo, a toddler Zoya and an infant Farhan are seen sleeping on a bunk trolley. The Gully Boy helmer is holding a doll while lying on it whereas her younger brother is fast asleep.

While wishing Zoya, Farhan wrote, "Happy birthday to someone who I know is always watching over me. Love you @zoieakhtar .. wish you a great year. #siblinglove. Ps: please return the trolley now. Thanks."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Zoya has directed Farhan in three films which include her directorial debut Luck By Chance, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Dil Dhadakne Do.

When asked about collaborating with Farhan again, Zoya had told Hindustan Times, "I don’t know. Find me a gangster film. Farhan and I are dying to do one. We are looking for a good script."

Her latest directorial Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt did not feature Farhan as an actor.
