Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's son Aarav Bhatia celebrates his 16th birthday on Saturday
Akshay Kumar is not just a brilliant actor and the khiladi of Bollywood, but also a doting father to his two children, son Aarav Bhatia and daughter Nitara.
The actor occasionally shares a picture of his kids and everytime he does, our hearts melt!
This time, as Akshay's son Aarav celebrates his 16th birthday on Saturday, the lovely father shared an adorable photograph of his son and himself on his Instagram handle.
In the tight close up, the Gold actor and his son can be seen smiling for the camera, as the former clicks a delfie.
With their hair in the wind and water making waves behind, it is evident that the father-son duo are somewhere outdoors.
Aarav, with his light grey eyes, is a handsome boy, just like his father, who looks proud and happy.
Along with the photo, Akshay wrote, “Taller than me, smarter than me, wealthier than me, nicer than me! My wish for you this year and always will be to have everything more than I ever had. Happy birthday Aarav.”
Twinkle Khanna, who flew out of Mumbai earlier this week, is missing his little boy on his special day.
The author too wished her son and wrote a heartfelt message on her Instagram. She also revealed that this year is the first time that she'll be missing Aarav's birthday celebrations.
"Fifteen birthdays together and the first one apart -Missing the birthday boy terribly," wrote Twinkle, along with the same picture that Akshay Kumar posted.
Both Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have been very protective about their children.
And why do we say so?
Because for the longest time, both of them made sure that, both Aarav and Nitara’s pictures were nowhere to be seen.
The reason being that the couple wanted to give their children as normal a childhood as possible.
However, of late, Akshay and Twinkle have become a bit more relaxed about sharing pictures of their children, even though they still don’t always show Nitara’s face.
On the work front, Twinkle Khanna recently launched her third book Pyjamas Are Forgiving, while Akshay Kumar is looking forward to Rajinikanth's 2.0, in which he plays the antagonist.
The actor also has films such as Kesari, Housefull 4 and Good News in his kitty.
