‘Gully Boy’ | Ranveer Singh aces the rockstar avatar in this throwback photo

Ranveer Singh has been applauded by audience and critics alike for his amazing transformation to get into the skin of the barbaric ruler Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. While the actor is still basking in glory, he has moved on to his next project, Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The film will feature him as a street rapper and is trying to get leaner for his role. 

However, a recent picture from the actor’s college days is going viral on the internet. Looking at it, one can easily identify Ranveer as a rockstar as he is seen sporting a goatee, long hair and piercing in the ear. Well, we must say, Ranveer’s swag then and now is certainly on point as always.

Meanwhile, apart from Gully Boy, Ranveer will be seen in Kabir Khan’s film ’83, which is based on the life of former India Cricket captain Kapil Dev. The actor also has Rohit Shetty’s Simmba in the pipeline. Talking about the constantly changing palette, Ranveer earlier said, "My current slate is another opportunity to showcase my versatility and in collaboration with finest filmmakers in the country. So right now I am going through a very rich creative phase and I am feeling blessed."
