Fitness enthusiast & doting father Akshay Kumar celebrates International Yoga Day, Father's Day; see pic

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar on the occasion of Father's Day as well as International Yoga Day shared a picture with his daughter Nitara in his arms after a day at the beach. Sharing the picture on his Twitter account, Akshay wrote, "I’m sure watching your child fall asleep in your arms gives you as much peace as practicing yoga :) Wishing all the amazing fathers, Happy #FathersDay and Happy #InternationalYogaDay everyone!"

Akshay has always shared sweet pictures with his daughter Nitara on social media and fans too have always appreciated the special father-daughter bond.

A day before Father's day, Akshay's wife Twinkle Khanna had also shared a post for her father yesteryear superstar Rajesh Khanna and had said, "He told my mother that I was the best present she could have ever given him as I entered the world, feet first, on his 31st birthday. He called me Tina Baba, never baby, and though I didn’t realise it at that point, my upbringing was different from all the other young girls around me." 

On the work front, Akshay closed the year 2020 on a high note with his film Good Newwz with Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani. It re-released in Dubai on June 11 amid the coronavirus pandemic. 

For the year 2020, Akshay has Sooryavanshi lined up with Katrina Kaif. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty and was scheduled to release in March was postponed amid the pandemic. Sooryavanshi is a part of Rohit's cop universe which also includes Singham and Simmba.
