FIRST LOOK of Arjun Kapoor as a tough cop in 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' is out now!

After tickling the viewers with his Karan and Charan avatars in his last release Mubarakan, Arjun Kapoor is all set to be seen in a completely different role in his next titled Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The actor re-united with his Ishaqzaade co-star Parineeti Chopra for the Dibakar Banerjee film. 

The first look of Arjun Kapoor in the film is out now and the actor looks pretty intimidating as a cop. Arjun will be seen playing the character of a 30 year old police officer in Delhi Police's special unit. Arjun took to his Twitter account to reveal his look for the film. He captioned the picture writing, "10th film 1 truth...Change is the only constant !!! Can’t wait to begin filming this one #sandeepaurpinkyfaraar @yrf @SAPFTheFilm"

A report on BollywoodLife suggests that Ajun's character is called Satinder Dahiya and he wants to get a promotion so that he can play a significant role in making the police force more responsible. Apparently, both Dibakar and Arjun researched for about 10 days to get the look right. They observed the officials of the Delhi Police force and also interacted with them. 

A report in HT Cafe quoted Arjun as saying, "“Dibakar wanted me to understand the world the character comes from. I also wanted to understand the character’s entire journey. I wanted to know his psychology and why he is the way he is, and why he makes certain extreme choices.” The actor admits that it's not easy being a cop and the that the idea behind their research exercise was to understand the "cop culture".
