Firangi motion poster | Kapil Sharma 'kick'starts promotion and reveals a new release date

While fans will have to wait for The Kapil Sharma Show to return to telly, the funnyman is gearing up for his second Bollywood release 'Firangi' 

A few weeks after the makers launched the first poster of the film, they have now unveiled a motion poster for 'Firangi'. It not only reveals the look of Kapil Sharma for the film where he is seen dressed a police inspector in British occupied India kicking a 'firangi'  but even a new release date for the film. Firangi was initially planned to release on Novemeber 10 and was going to clash with Irrfan’s 'Qarib Qarib Singlle' and Rajkummar Rao’s 'Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana' but now makers have avoided the clash. Kapil's film will now hit theatres two weeks later. Kapil shared the motion picture on Twitter and wrote, " KICK-starting this journey with Firangi motion poster."

Kapil debut in Abbas-Mastan comedy 'Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon' which failed to cash on his popularity. But now the actor is producing his second film which is reportedly a story of a small-town boy played by Kapil who falls for an NRI girl, Monica Gill. Ishita Dutta, younger sister of Tanushree Dutta, also plays a significant part in the film. Directed by Rajiev Dhingra.
