Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has hit back at Manish Jagan Agrawal of the Samajwadi Party and actor, producer Nikhil Dwivedi for her recent tweets after she questioned Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan for her recent remarks against her and BJP MP Ravi Kishan, made during Tuesday’s parliament session.
Manish Agrawal tweeted in Hindi which translates to, "Kangana, you want to move forward by abusing everyone's struggles, despising them and targeting them all? Be it Karan Johar or other filmmakers, this Indian film industry has been built due to the collective hard work of all people, no industry is made in 1-2 days by abusing everyone as you do."
To this Kangana replied saying in Hindi, "इंडस्ट्री सिर्फ़ करण जोहर/उसके पापा ने नहीं बनाई,बाबा साहेब फाल्के से लेकर हर कलाकार और मज़दूर ने बनाई है,उस फ़ौजी ने जिसने सीमाओं को बचाया,उस नेता ने जिसने संविधान की रक्षा की है,उस नागरिक ने जिसने टिकट ख़रीदा और दर्शक का किरदार निभाया,इंडस्ट्री करोड़ों भारतवासीयों ने बनाई है। (The industry is not created only by Karan Johar/his father, it is created by every artist and laborer, by Babasaheb Phalke, by the army who saved the borders, the leader who protected the constitution, the citizen who bought the ticket and the audience. The industry is made collectively by crores of Indians)."
Kangana later also got in a spat with producer Nikhil Dwivedi who questioned her and said why she joined the film industry if it is such a "bad place".
Kangana said in Hindi, which loosely translates to, "What did you build? Item Numbers? Most of the sleazy films? Of drugs culture? Treason and Terrorism? The world laughs at Bollywood, mockery is made everywhere in the country, Dawood has also earned money and name, but if you want honour, then try to earn it, don't hide black tricks."
