Farhan Akhtar to make a special announcement soon; is it marriage to Shibani Dandekar or 'Don 3'?

Bollywood actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has many special things happening in his life. He found success in Inside Edge, Gold and KGF – Chapter 1 on the professional front, and his production film Gully Boy’s trailer which released yesterday has also been well-received. On the personal front too, Farhan, who got divorced to his wife of 16 years – Adhuna Bhabani, has found love once again in Shibani Dandekar.

Farhan now confirmed that he still has something exciting in the kitty. Talking about his future plans at the Gully Boy trailer launch, Farhan said, "I have got 'The Sky is Pink' as an actor which is being directed by Shonali Bose and there is going to be very special announcement, but this is not the time and the platform to announce it."

The Dil Chahta Hai filmmaker has two exciting things happening in his life. He had previously mentioned in the passing that Don 3 script is being worked on and an official announcement would be made once things would be finalized.

The brand Don became recognized due to Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan’s jodi but the duo coming back for Don 3 seems unlikely. However Farhan had also suggested that Shah Rukh might be part of the project even now. If the film will go on floors with Shah Rukh, it would be shot after Saare Jahaan Se Accha wraps up. Simultaneously, he is also reported to be taking his relationship with Shibani to the next level by tying the knot.
