For one fan, Disneyland may not have been the 'happiest place on Earth'...
A few days ago, Bollywood shippers lighted up at the sight of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone on a romantic getaway in Disneyland. The two were spotted by several fans and a few videos of theirs started doing the rounds on the internet. One fan started recording them and asked for a picture, and Deepika, with a smile on her face, moved towards her. For those of you who wonder whether she got that picture or where that picture is, you’re about to be disappointed.
After being criticised online for invading the stars’ privacy, the fan, named Zainab Khan, posted a long story on Instagram about what happened when she asked for a picture. “I was a really big fan, but after meeting such horrible people, I have no words. First of all, I did not ‘follow them around’, I’m not a damn paparazzi. I am on vacation and I have better things to do with my life than chase around celebrities,” she started off by writing. She explained that recording two big stars like that would be something that anyone would’ve done, and she isn’t doing anything out of the ordinary.
She then goes on to detail what happened when Deepika approached her. “When she walked towards me smiling, I really thought she was coming to take a picture, but her and Ranveer actually came and yelled at me. The reason why I did not record them yelling at me is because they were right in my face and I was traumatised by their loud tone,” she said. She went on to criticise their ‘fakeness’ and asked people to stop defending them like ‘lawyers’.
The Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela stars, so far, have not reacted to the claim of the fan, who has left the internet shook-eth. Rumours say that Ranveer and Deepika will be getting hitched this November in Italy, and the two are being frequently spotted together. However, incidents like these, whether true or not, just go to show that you can never really know what someone might be like off-camera.
