The troubles for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmaavat doesn't seem to end. After the Supreme Court of India ruled in favour of the film and lifted the ban against its release in the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh, looks like the trouble isn't over yet.

Now, as per the recent development, the Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer film may not be screened anywhere in the state of Gujarat. Why do we say so? Well, the multiplexes of Gujarat have decided not to screen the film, fearing the losses which they might have to bear.

Rakesh Patel, Director of Gujarat Multiplex Association told ANI, "We have decided not to screen the movie in whole of Gujarat. Everyone is scared, No multiplex wants to bear the loss. Why will we bear the loss?"

This comes a day after Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Akshay Kumar announced that Padmaavat will now be a solo release on January 25. SLB had earlier requested Akshay to push the release of his film Pad Man and Akshay readily agreed.

At a press conference held at his Juhu residence on Friday, Akshay told the media persons that he understands that the stakes with Padmaavat are higher than his own film. "His need is more than mine for this date. We're all like a family in the industry and there's no point in clashing," said Akshay.

Meanwhile, the Karni Sena continues to protest against the release of Padmaavat. After the SC verdict in favour of the SLB film, the Karni Sena has called for a 'janta curfew' urging the masses not to watch the film.
