Ryan Reynolds is going to return in the role of foul-mouthed anti-hero in 'Deadpool 2' and our very own Ranveer Singh was the first choice to dub for the superhero film in Hindi. But the Padmaavat actor refused.

Varun Dhawan has given Hindi voiceover for 'Captain America: Civil War', Priyanka Chopra replaced Scarlett Johansson's voice in 'The Jungle Book' for desi audience and Tiger Shroff was also kicked about lending his voice for Hindi version of 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' last year. Mumbai Mirror report suggests that Ranveer was approached by the makers for doing a voice-over for Hindi version of Deadpool 2. Although like most of us Mr Singh is also a fan of this quirky superhero, he had decline the offer. The actor is currently busy with Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy which will see in the role of a rapper. Apart from that he also Rohit Shetty's Simmbaa with Sara Ali Khan and Kabir Khan's 83 in the pipeline.

Sources close to the Mumbai daily suggest that Ranveer is extremely busy with Zoya's film shooting schedule as he is shooting every night for the film and had to turn down inspite of being keen to do it. Makers felt that Ranveer is the desi 'Deadpool', going by his entertaining ways on and off screen as well. Having in board would have given a mass appeal to the Hindi version of 'Deadpool 2'.

According to reports, Deadpool 2 will release on May 18th in India.
