Kriti Sanon recently announced that she's come on board for Sajid Khan's Housefull 4. The actress has been finalised as one of the leading ladies in the fourth instalment of the Housefull franchise. However, rumour mills have been busy churning that she walked out of Aashiqui 3 to be helmed by Mohit Suri, in order to be a part of Housefull 4, leaving Suri in the lurch. Rumours also suggested that this has apparently left a sour patch between Kriti and Suri.

But is that actually the case? Did Kriti really walk out of Aashiqui 3? Well, turns out that the actress hadn't even been confirmed for the project and had not signed the dotted line for Aashiqui 3 as well.

A report on SpotboyE quoted a source close to the development as saying, "The makers are perplexed as to why tongues about Kriti walking out on Mohit began wagging. The two were keen to work together and had a few meetings but nothing was final on paper. In fact, the discussions did not even veer towards the remuneration."

Further revealing the details of the development, the source told the portal, "Mohit wanted to begin shooting soon and Kriti didn’t have dates. They tried their level best to sync them but couldn’t and the director wasn’t keen on changing his schedule. He had the two heroes to cast as well. There is no bad blood between them.”

Well, as of now, Kriti is pretty happy to be collaborating with Sajid Nadiadwala's production once again post her debut film Heropanti. The other actors who've been finalised for the project include Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Bobby Deol. The movie is to be helmed by Sajid Khan and is supposed to hit the theatres on Diwali 2019.
