Ayushmann Khurrana wrapped up the shoot of Sriram Raghavan’s film on December 14, with a special starry treat for the film’s crew in Pune.

A source says that Ayushmann took the entire crew, along with his director Sriram  for a special stargazing experience. “An avid follower of astronomy, the singer-star has developed this as a hobby since childhood. Gazing up at the skies through telescopes and self-improvised devices has been a huge indulgence for him. Astronomers like professor Somak Ray Chaudhary of the IUCAA, who discovered the Saraswati Galaxy, have been his heroes,” reveals a source close to the actor.

Incidentally, December 14 was an opportune date to gaze at stars as a meteor shower was at its peak. “One of the astronomers from the team of Saraswati (Galaxy), Jameer Munar, was also present with them and the film’s crew led by Ayushmann had an unforgettable visual experience when they spotted 25 shooting stars together,” informs the source. “Yes, it was an incredible experience for all of us. I’m really happy I took the entire crew out for this once-in-a- life kind of experience,” confirms Ayushmann.

The actor plays a visually impaired piano player in the yet-to-be-titled thriller.
