Actress Deepika Padukone recently took to her Instagram account to share beautiful images from her low-key Diwali celebrations at home with husband Ranveer Singh on November 14. The day also happened to be the couple's second anniversary.

And like always, the moment the B-town diva shared the photos on her social media handle, it went viral, sending the internet into a complete meltdown.

While Deepika picked an elegant red and gold Raw Mango saree and teamed it with a pair of uncut diamond-studded floral earrings, Ranveer complemented the star wife's look by sporting an orange kurta.

Both happily posed for the shutterbugs as they burst into laughter.

However, besides all the praise that the B-town star couple received for their Diwali looks, as usual, some memes were also created which Deepika took very sportingly.

Taking to Instagram stories on Monday, the actress posted a meme comparing her and Ranveer Singh's Diwali look to 'gajar ka halwa' and 'motichoor ladoo' respectively.

The collage has two photos. One of these features gajar ka halwa and motichoor ladoo. In the other, Deepika poses in a red saree while Ranveer is seen in an orange kurta.

"Sure? Why not!?" Deepika wrote alongside the photos and tagged Ranveer.

Hours before, the actress shared another meme comparing her look to kaju katli. She posted it on Instagram and asked her fans to "check it out".

The look was from Deepika's Diwali celebrations with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday, both of who will be seen in 'Shakun Batra' with the 'Padmavat' star.

Earlier, the star couple posted images wishing each other a happy anniversary. In the photographs, the couple can be seen sporting colour-coordinated outfits from Sabyasachi and embracing each other with a smile.

"Two peas in a pod...Happy 2nd Anniversary @ranveersingh .You complete me..." wrote Deepika.

Ranveer, too, wished his wife with an Instagram post. The actor wrote: "Souls eternally intertwined. Happy second anniversary, meri gudiya @deepikapadukone"

Deepika and Ranveer had tied the knot on November 14, 2018. The couple had a destination wedding at Lake Como, Italy.

The husband-wife duo -- Deepika ad Ranveer-- will be seen in '83', which is expected to release soon after being delayed due to the pandemic.
