Deepika Padukone's first look in 'Chhapaak' gets applause from Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan

Deepika Padukone broke the Internet on Monday morning by unveiling her first look from her upcoming film, Chhapaak. In the film, the stunning actor plays the role of an acid attack survivor named Malti. The shooting for the film began today and it's being helmed by Meghna Gulzar. In the first look shared by the makers, Deepika's makeup to look like an acid attack victim is pitch perfect and fans can't wait to see her in never-seen-before avatar on the big screen.

Not only fans but even Bollywood celebrities are shocked and impressed with the killer look of Deepika as Malti. They all congratulated and applauded for taking up this role and story which needs to be told. Chhapaak marks Deepika's debut as a film producer. The film stars Vikrant Massey as the male lead and it's their first outing together. The much-anticipated film is set to hit the screens on January 10, 2019. The film inspired by the life of Laxmi Agarwal will be extensively shot in Delhi.
